Looking to engage in thoughtful (and/or fun) discussions and connect with fellow book lovers? Join the Omaha Metro Area Humanist Association’s Weekly Book Club! We gather every week to explore the latest chapters of our selected non-fiction book, engage in lively conversations, and enjoy a relaxed lunch together. Our meetups offer a welcoming environment for those interested in deepening their knowledge on a variety of thought-provoking topics.
Our book club focuses on a wide range of non-fiction genres that inspire curiosity and expand our understanding of the world. From the history of world philosophies and scientific discoveries to the evolution of humanity—both physical and psychological—we cover books that encourage critical thinking and meaningful dialogue. We typically complete a book in 4-6 weeks, allowing for an in-depth exploration of each topic.
We look forward to welcoming you to our community of readers and thinkers!
(Because we pay HyVee for the use of this room, we do ask for a contribution to the Tip Jar to help cover that cost. ~ $2 per person would be ideal; but it is voluntary.)
