Merry NoMas – Respite from the Relatives Dinner

By this time on Xmas day it’s likely we’ll all be tired of our Uncle’s science denial, our Aunt’s religious platitudes, and our sibling’s or parent’s political rants, and in dire need of a respite from our relatives! Well, what better way to escape than to have an appointment you just can’t cancel?

Here’s your excuse to break away.  RSPV now to join your fellow Humanists for our 10th year of a cherished holiday tradition, the Merry NoMas – Respite from the Relatives Dinner, at one of the only open restaurants that day, the China Buffet and Mongolian Grill.

Bring a happy or horrifying holiday story to share with the group (it doesn’t even have to be from this year), as the sharing of stories can be very cathartic for everyone and we’d love to hear yours. Or just come to hear others stories and lend a supportive ear and join them in boisterous laughter at the ridiculousness of it all. Either way we’ll be there for you Xmas night, and we hope you’ll join us for some good food, good company, and good holiday fun.
